Urban Diversion Internship Program
Our positions for the 2008/2009 internship year have been filled. We will begin accepting applications for the 2009/2010 internship year beginning in October of 2008.
Urban Diversion has an amazing opportunity for an experience of a lifetime. We are looking for top notch candidates to help organize, host and market our events. The internship is for a minimum of 12 months. You will be provided with free accommodation in Downtown San Francisco, Board, and living expenses.
Candidates are required to have an extremely outgoing personality, experience leading others, and contagious excitement level. You must have perfect English language skills and must be willing to participate in all kinds of activities and be at least 21 years of age during the internship.
This Internship/Placement is one of the most sought after in the USA, and a perfect for international students from Europe/Australia. Assistant Marketing Intern
Preferred fields of study: Marketing, Business, Administration
You will work directly with senior management in executing a variety of both offline and online membership drive campaigns. You are still required to plan and execute fun events, but your main focus will be marketing.

- Posting events and other Event based Marketing
- Measuring and managing mini-campaign and follow-up reporting
- Monthly competitive analysis reports, to stay abreast of our competitors

Assistant Event Manager Intern

You will be organizing and conducting all kinds of social events from hiking/camping to wine tasting to pub crawls for our members. This is a chance for you to grow as a person both professionally and personally.
- Brainstorming ideas for upcoming calendars
- Planning events
- Event Research
- Manage Publishing of 40-50 events per month
- Drive membership through unique and exciting events
- Co-ordinating with other Event coordinator and eventually becoming the manager of the group
Club Relations Intern

Public Relations - Update media calendar, generate publicity, create press releases, Leads development, etc
Corporate Relations Coordinator - Keep sponsors and parnters active, manage corporate sponsorships of UD and events, solicit and manage new partnerships and member discounts.
New Member Relations Coordinator - Handle new member applications, contanct new members, followup with members, handle members news, etc.
Master Host Relations Coordinator - Assist in hire and manage new master hosts, work with hosts to generate their events according to member needs, facilitate process implementation.
