We had total beginners and experts but everyone had fun learning how to belay and rock climb.

What a great night out - with lots of fun, dancing and socializing! We had a group of over 30 show up, and helped celebrate Mardi Gras in style - UD style that is!

Hello UD Members
This is the final newsletter for February. It has been an exciting month but now we are heading into MARCH MADNESS!!! March is shaping up to be our biggest month of the year so far... and it's only going to be getting better! We have lots fun, exciting, and unique events in store for March and we are still adding MORE EVENTS! Be sure to keep a watchful eye on the calendar! |
UD Ski Cabin Update There's SNOW IN TAHOE! It's been a rough start to the ski season but Tahoe is now buried under feet of snow. Now is definitely the time to check out our Tahoe weekend ski trips! Come and join us at our exclusive cabin just outside of Truckee and let's hit the slopes!

Urban Diversion Adventures is here!
It is raining outside, but we are planning our summers already, and if you haven't noticed yet, we have launched what we call "Urban Diversion Adventures"! More outdoors, camping, rafting, kayaking, hiking, caving, trips, surfing, horseback riding, etc etc etc.... all in addition to our regular suite of fantastic events!!! The difference with UD Adventures is that we are sticking to our social atmosphere, so not only is the hiking and camping fun and challenging, but the chatting and playing games around the campfire are really what everyone enjoys and remembers. So keep your eyes open as we start rolling out our summer adventures. |

...as we head into March, your friendly staff here at the UD office are trying to plan ways to usher in the spring Urban Diversion style. We've got some great events planned with more in the works, but we'd like to hear from YOU! As April approaches and the weather turns nice, what is it that YOU would like to see on our calendar of events? Is there something fun close to where you live that you'd like to share with the rest of your fellow UD members? This is YOUR club and we are here for you.  We have the best day lined up this year for St. Patrick's Day... Start the day off with a good hearty breakfast, before helping build 12 single-family homes for those less fortunate than ourselves. This is a great way to spend a Saturday, out in the sunshine, doing something amazing for the local community. All those that attend will be invited back to the UD clubhouse for drinks and BBQ afterwards. Then we will head over to our local Irish bar, Fiddler's Green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in true Irish Style!...
