Join UD friends and kick off summer sailing season with Opening Day on the Bay! We will board a catamaran on the gorgeous SF Bay and enjoy the sunshine, breeze, and Opening Day action...plus a BBQ afterwards!

We've got a PERFECT day planned! Get front row action to Opening Day on the Bay on a catamaran with all your UD friends! Keep the party going and indulge in a tasty BBQ at the Clubhouse after!
What to Expect:
UD's Opening Day on the Bay is the best way to kick off the summer sailing season! We will be sailing on a spectacular catamaran for 3 hours under the Golden Gate Bridge as we sit back and enjoy our beautiful surroundings! The cherry on top? We will be on the water when the Parade of Ships starts at 12:00pm!
Don't know what a catamaran is? It is a two-hulled sailing vessel that is more stable and fun than a regular sail boat! You DON'T want to miss out!
A post-sail BBQ at the Clubhouse!
Schedule:
9:00 AM- Meet at the Clubhouse
9:30 AM- leave Clubhouse and walk a few blocks to Pier 39
10:00 AM- Enjoy a 3-hour sailing adventure on a catamaran and have an up-close experience of Opening Day on the Bay , the Parade of Ships, and all the gorgeous views!
1:00 PM- Catamaran docks and we will walk back to the Clubhouse
1:30 PM- Celebrate all that you have seen with your UD friends and dig into a delicious BBQ!

Post-sail BBQ at the Clubhouse
Your UD host with the absolute most!
Attire: Casual or dress in your best sailor outfit! Dress in layers! It will be windy and chilly on the catamaran. If you have a fleece or jacket, bring it with you just in case. Wear sunscreen and be prepared in case the weather turns!
