Lake Tahoe Outdoor Adventure Weekend! Are you a Weekend Warrior? Do you love going on adventures and being outdoors? Then join UD for our Outdoor Adventure Weekend! (If you are looking for a relaxing weekend in the mountains...this is NOT the trip for you ;) Together we will adventure the Tahoe back country and get a great workout! This weekend will include activities like day-hike to Lake Aloha, a nice swim in the lake, and a morning bike ride!
Itinerary: - Friday- We will meet at UD's South Shore Tahoe cabin and have a casual evening hanging out, playing board games, and enjoy some late-night snacks!
- Saturday morning- After an early breakfast, we will embark on a day-hike to Aloha Lake! This hike is moderate 11.7 mile hike. We will pass by five lakes including Lower Echo Lake, Upper Echo Lake, Tamarack Lake, and Lake Aloha! This hike also offers spectacular views of Lake Tahoe! Once we make it to Lake Aloha we'll cool off by the water (maybe take a nice, cool dip), and refuel over lunch! For more information about this hike, click here.
- Saturday night- Let's all go out! Night out on the town in downtown, or try our luck at the casinos! Our South Shore cabin is just minutes from downtown!
- Sunday morning- After another delicious breakfast, we will go on a morning bike ride on the Flume Trail Mountain Bike Trail on the East shore! This 14-mile trail follows a mountain ridge that overlooks Spooner Lake! For more information about this trail, click here.
- Sunday afternoon- After our bike ride, we can all grab lunch nearby at one of the many restaurants before heading back to the city!

Our South Shore cabin- yes, that is a pool AND hot tub to relax your muscles after a long day of adventure :) Suggested items to bring: - Bathing suit for the pool, hot tub, beach, and swimming!
- Casual clothes for outings and around the cabin
- Active and comfortable clothing and shoes for hiking, biking, and more
- Bring comfortable hiking sneakers or boots and layers
- Hat, sunglasses, water bottles, and backpacks for hike
- Adult beverages of your choice!
