When a place is described as "Worlds Greatest", it's always worth checking out. Many describe the view from the top of Mt. Diablo as one of the world's greatest panoramas. Come camping with us as we take in the view and wildflowers from the slopes of Mt. Diablo.

Camping on Mt. Diablo

Second only to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, more of the Earth's surface can be seen from the summit of Mt. Diablo than any other peak in the world.   And Mt. Diablo is just a short drive from San Francisco.



The Location: Mt. Diablo State Park

  Mt. Diablo State Park abounds in natural beauty: lush wildflower-strewn meadows, narrow canyons with stream side vegetation, magnificent groves of Coulter pines, productive birding habitat, rugged mountain scenery and endless sun-swept panoramas stretching from the Golden Gate to the High Sierra. 

What to Expect:  This is going to be an adventure filled weekend getaway! Take in the meadows carpeted in wildflowers, panoramic views and laughs with old and new friends.  During the day, we'll hit the trail for some day hikes and come evening, we'll cook up some hearty meals around the campfire, then spend the rest of the evening enjoying each others company. 

All of this only 30 minutes away!
