 WINTER WEEKEND TAHOE GETAWAY
Here's your chance to escape the Bay Area and retreat to a winter wonderland of fun! For 2 days and 2 nights, explore the town, the ski resorts and the casinos from the convenience of a local ski cabin. Enjoy the company and community of your Urban Diversion friends.... because a vacation is good, but having friends to share it with is even better.
 
What is so special about Urban Diversion Tahoe trips...
Urban Diversion Tahoe weekends are very unique. Unlike other groups and outfitters that charge you over $200 for a weekend trip, we keep the costs low and the fun high. We take care of the lodging and several meals for you, and you are free to make the weekend what you want it to be. Participate in some pre-planned activities that your host has waiting for you or make it up as you go!
 
 About the Cabin:
Right on the slopes of Heavenly at Stagecoach! So close you can throw a snowball to the ski lift from our balcony!! It doesn't get any better than this. Completely remodeled this year with hard wood floors, new washer/dryer, fire place, community hot tub, DSL/WiFi, BBQ, ski/board storage, and more beds! We are just minutes from all of the ski resorts and the casinos.
The Activities / Schedule:
These activities are here for your option. Tag along with us or do your own thing with a smaller group of friends. We are here for YOU!
- Friday Evening - Arrival, relax in the cabin!!
Come anytime after work Friday evening and relax in our plush ski cabin complete with: TV and movies, hot tub, wireless internet and more!!! Get to know the other Ski cabin regulars. We'll get settled in and start planning the weekend.
- Saturday - Take to the slopes.
We'll monitor the ski conditions and pick the best resort to go to [check the message board for discussions on best spots and cheap tickets). At the resorts, we usually divide into smaller groups according to skill levels so everyone has somebody to ski with. We meet up for lunch at mid-day. Those that do not want to ski are welcome to relax at the cabin or check out the lake near by. By night, we can head out to the casinos where often live bands are playing, or choose to stay in and hang out by the fire!
- Sunday - Slopes or .... Hike.
Sunday is usually an alternative day in that many people like to explore a little more of what Tahoe has to offer. We may go hiking, you bring (or rent) the snowshoes!

 Expectations...
Urban Diversion Ski Weekends are all about the community. We strive to have fun in a comfortable group setting. Along with this, we run these weekends co-op styles. We make a group dinner together, head up the slopes in pairs of 2-4, and you might want to take a break mid-day at the mountain lodge having a warm drink and lunch. Each weekend is different and fun. We're totally open and flexible and you should be too.

- Cooked breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday

Does NOT include:
- Ski lift passes or ski rentals
- Alcoholic beverages (BYOB)
Attire: Dress warm, dress for snow, and bring extra clothes as well as your swimsuit and towel for the hot tub! |
