Joshua Tree
The trees were incredible and a sight to see. Seriously, the way that each one is different and the beauty of the terrain, if you were not along for the ride, you truly missed out. Sadly, camera malfunctions, but some of the majesty got captured!

Fleet Week at the Clubhouse!
While planes did dips and tricks, and of course the amazing precision of the Blue Angels' performance, we enjoyed good sights, even better food, and the best of company!

Shannon has been quietly scribbling away bits and pieces of the newsletter for the past couple weeks and has been working mostly on behind the scenes stuff here at Urban Diversion. If you were really lucky, you were out at Fleet Week this past weekend and got to meet her! That said, keep your eyes out for her at future events (she'll be on the pirate ship) and keep reading for the insider look at her:
1. She's a dancer. Over 28 different dances. She'll be hosting her first event this month. Can you guess what it is? Salsa dancing!
2. She used to be a Magic Princess. No joke. She used to prance around singing, dancing, face-painting, balloon animals, magic, and more in sparkles and glitter and floofy dresses.
3. She's a native Californian. But geographically challenged. If you've been in the city a few months, you probably know it better than she does.

Hello Idol Fans! We are off to one of San Jose's most famous Karaoke bars to sing out loud! Or simply sit back and give your best Simon impersonation by judging the talent. Anything goes at this wild and wacky spot which is truly known for some amazing or not so amazing performances. So start honing your chops because this is an event not to be missed. |

The Great Pumpkin is no longer just a concept from our beloved Charlie Brown. This year we're hitting the pumpkin patch, going on a hay-ride, and then getting to carve the pumpkins out on-site! This is a family friendly event so feel free to bring the kids! |
