The Sun is setting on the ocean, The moon is full, and you live in one of the most beautiful spots in the world, so let's enjoy it with a hike at Lands End. Come and take in some breathtaking views of the famous Golden Gate Bridge under a full moon!
 
Basic Details:

Full Moon Hike at Lands End!

 

Hike the coastal bluffs and take in sweeping views of the Golden Gate under the soft glow of a full, Spring moon. 
Join us for a walk through the Sutro Baths, admire sweeping views of the
GG Bridge and learn about the history of our city's fabled coastline!

 

 

 

We will meet at the upper parking lot at the time specified,so we'll get to hike during the sunset! Your host will take you to a great look out spot to watch the moon rise by 8:02pm! Your host will break out the yummy surprise for all of us to enjoy while we gaze at the full moon!

ON JUNE 3, 2023:  Strawberry Full moon!  Sunset 8:27pm,  Moonrise is 8:34, but we will probably see it around 9:45pm

What to Expect:  Enjoy a relaxing evening of light hiking along the trails of Lands End. We'll meander our way though groves of coastal cypress, though the ruins of the Sutra Baths and along the cliffs and bluffs overlooking the Golden Gate and Pacific Ocean.  

  

The trail offers sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Event Includes:

  • Water & Snacks, and the usual yummy surprise from the host
  • Some of the most impressive coastal views in the city
  • A fun, knowledgeable and active UD host!

 

What to bring:

  • Comfortable shoes to hike in
  • Layers!!!
  • Water bottle

 

Attire:  Active casual. Dress in warm layers as it is often breezy and foggy. BRING A HEADLAMP OR  A FLASHLIGHT
