Join us for an awesome day at the hard to find "Santa Cruz Garden of Eden"
We are starting the day with a morning of mild hiking to the "Garden of Eden" swimming hole located in the Santa Cruz Mountains! This trial will bring us through gorgeous redwoods, leading to a lazy afternoon of swimming and lounging on sandy river banks, a truly perfect day!
The Garden of Eden is one of Northern CA's best secret swimming holes. Hidden along a strip of glorious redwoods, this gem is an idyllic paradise to cool off after a morning hike through the redwoods on a hot summer day. This fun-filled adventure showcases one of the best swimming holes in Northern CA— it features beach lounging, swimming, and a tasty picnic lunch to share. The Garden of Eden is a perfect summer day adventure and a must see spot!
What to Expect:
We will start the morning off with a 2.5 mile (5 miles round trip) hike through the redwoods of the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. This is a mild hike through the redwood forest, leading us down to the San Lorenzo River and the infamously hard to find "Garden of Eden" swimming spot. Your UD host knows all of the best spots on this river, and will lead us to our own piece of river-beach paradise. Be prepared for a fun-filled afternoon on the river... floating, swimming, lounging and eating a delicious a picnic lunch!
