Get ready to beat the heat and enjoy the great outdoors with a weekend of camping and tubing down the river with new friends! Whether you're a seasoned tuber or a first-timer, this is an beginner friendly adventure you won't want to miss!
What to Expect
We are heading to beautiful Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River! This is going to be an awesome 4th of July weekend filled with lazy tubing down the river, campfire hangouts, paddle boarding, and partying-it-up in gorgeous Lake Tahoe!
We are camping on the Truckee/Tahoe River, the perfect spot for a 4th of July float! We are camping and cabin-ing... which means we can tube without the worry of having to pack up and drive home directly afterwards! Plus, we are located only a short walk to town for some fun nightlife if we're up for it! Our campsite is located on the river, and is normally very difficult to reserve, but we scored awesome sites this year, and we are so excited to share them with you!
Cabin Glamping available: If camping isn't your thing, we have a beautiful Tahoe cabin available. If you stay at the cabin, you can still come join us for all of the fun camp activities, BBQ and of course for the tubing party!
If you would rather join our river float as a day trip, we've got you covered! Click here!

Itinerary
DAY 1 | Friday June 30th
Get ready for tubing and partying down the Truckee River! After arriving, we will set up camp, hangout by the river, and start the campfire. We will spend the night getting to know each other better around a warm fire. Your host will prepare a light camp dinner, and the group will gather for card games, s'mores, and starry skies!
DAY 2 | Saturday July 1st
Today we are celebrating the 4th of July with an afternoon of tubing down the river! Lazy river tubing is a great way to relax, unwind, party as we float as one big group!!
When you wake up, coffee will be waiting! We will have a hearty breakfast, energizing us for our day of tubing! After breakfast, we will get our lunches packed and loaded into coolers. If you have drinks to bring tubing, please bring your own coolers for any personal drinks you may want during our float. Snacks and lunch for the day will be provided.
We will have the entire day to relax, swim and tube while taking in all the sun and sights! Your tube will be tied onto your neighbor's tube at least 6 per group, and we will be bringing coolers with us as well! You can team up against the other tubers with super soakers... or cruise down the river relaxing and listening to music, and taking in the beautiful scenery.
When we have had our fill of tubing, the rest of our Saturday afternoon is free time. Head to the Lake Tahoe to paddle board, lay on the beach, or take a nap in a hammock. When the sun starts to set, your hosts will prepare a camp dinner feast! We will get the fire going, and get the drinks pouring (BYOB), and play camp games. We'll spend the night eating & drinking, dancing, and telling stories, so let's do it right and live it up!
In addition to river tubing, there are tons of beautiful hikes nearby for those of us that don't want to get wet. If you are interested, please ask the host for more details about hiking and other fun stuff to do in the area.
DAY 3 | Sunday July 2nd
We will start our last day with coffee and a delicious breakfast! Then it's time to pack up camp, and check out of our campsites by 12pm. You are free to head home whenever you need, but firest make sure to swap contact info with the new friends you made. If you are able to stay for Sunday afternoon, we will have a group heading to Tahoe Lake for some stand-up paddle boarding. We will be sharing a few of UD's paddle boards, and possibly renting extras depending on how many people join us for the afternoon.
Day 4+ | Monday July 3rd-4th (Optional)
For those of us that have Monday and Tuesday off from work, we have our Tahoe Cabin and are continuing the 4th of July celebration! If you are attending the campout, but also want to extend your trip by staying at the cabin for Monday and Tuesday, please contact the trip host ASAP.
**Space is limited, so RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot.
