This event is for the UD Tahoe Cabin, we are also hosting our 4th of July weekend campout!
We are celebrating the 4th of July at a gorgeous Tahoe cabin, complete with a BIG river-tubing party, UD BBQ, and a live music & fireworks event on the beach!
Get ready to beat the heat and enjoy the great outdoors with an extended stay at our Tahoe cabin! Our UD Tahoe campout is happening on the same weekend, and is located just a short drive away... so joining in on camp activities will be easy. We have awesome 4th of July activities planned by your super fun hosts, but the trip's itinerary is flexible, so feel empowered to make it your own. Whether it's tubing the river, golfing, hiking, paddle boarding, or live music and fireworks on the beach, there's something for everyone.
Itinerary:
DAY 1 | Friday June 30th
We will meet at UD's Tahoe Cabin and have a casual night to settle in! Your host will have snacks for this night, but make sure to bring your own dinner with you or eat somewhere along the way. We will be having refreshments and a big campfire at the campground, we encourage you to join the group for the festivities :)
DAY 2 | Saturday July 1st
Wake up to the smell of coffee in the morning. A hearty breakfast will be served, compliments of your host. After breakfast, join us for our Truckee River tubing party (an awesome lazy-river float)! Whether you're a seasoned tuber or a first-timer, this is an beginner friendly adventure you won't want to miss! After we've all enjoyed our day to the fullest, we'll have a big group dinner. For those who are up for an outing, downtown Truckee is a lot of fun and just down the street.
DAY 3 | Sunday July 2nd
Enjoy another hearty group breakfast at the cabin, then we have a day adventure of stand up paddle boarding of the lake. Alternatively, you can explore Lake Tahoe, go on a hike, go shopping, or hit the casinos. Tonight, we will enjoy a group dinner in Truckee, known for it's picturesque downtown and mountain-town vibes.
DAY 4 | Monday July 3rd
Wake up and enjoy the morning coffee and breakfast! We will head down to the beach for a 4 of July celebration at King's Beach area. This is a super fun annual celebration with live music, dancing, entertainment, food vendors, beer and wine garden, and a pyrotechnic show launched from barges in the middle of Lake Tahoe. We will get dinner at this event. Feel free to go off script and explore somewhere else in the Lake Tahoe area. Regardless, it's always more fun with other UD friends, so ask to see what others are doing and go together.
DAY 5 | Tuesday July 4th
Wake up to breakfast and coffee in the cabin. Today, we are celebrating the Fourth of July at the local's Lake Party, just down the street from our cabin. There will be fireworks, live music, food, and games! We will spend the majority of the day celebrating at the lake, whether we want to enjoy the festivities, lounge in the hammock, or paddle around the lake, this will be an awesome afternoon!
DAY 6 | Wednesday July 5th
Wake up to breakfast and coffee in the cabin, and have a lazy morning before we pack up. Today is our final day, and check out is at noon. We can give you tons of suggestions for fun stuff to do before you head home. Make sure to swap contact info with the new friends you've made at the UD cabin!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Private bedrooms are very limited in the cabin, and are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Otherwise, you will most likely be sharing a room with other members signed up for this trip. If you are coming with a friend, and want to share a room, we can most likely accommodate room requests, this is also done on a on a first come, first serve basis. If you sign up for this trip, expect to share communal spaces and bedrooms with other people, unless you communicate with host otherwise.

What to bring
- Our theme for our river float is PARTY IN THE USA!! Bring a fun outfit or costume... you do you!
- Bathing suit and water shoes
- Hiking boots
- Dinner Friday night
- $$ for lunch on Saturday
- $$ for any lake activities, casino trips, etc
- Personal hygiene items (tooth brush, toothpaste, soap, etc)
- Clothes appropriate for the lake, casinos, and a night out on the town
NOTE: You can still go skiing in Palisades (skiing in summer)!
