Have you ever experienced Napa on a bike?
It's a fun and exciting way to see the beautiful rolling hills and picturesque vineyards. You will see the vineyards from a new perspective, and feel like a Napa local... which will make tasting wine that much more enjoyable! Come with us and experience three of Napa's finest wineries! Leave your car in the parking lot, hop on your bikes and let's go taste some wine!
We will bike to 3 different tasting experiences for you to taste all the delicious varieties Napa wine has to offer! Not only is this an amazingly scenic place, it is super accessible by bike with a dedicated bike path along the vineyards. Each winery will offer a different experience, and we've hand picked some of our longtime UD favorites to make sure you have the best experience possible.
What to expect:
We'll meet at a bike rental shop where you can pick up a rental if needed before cycling to winery #1 for our first tasting.
We'll take a short, leisurely ride to the next winery.
After tasting #2, we'll embark towards our final tasting...
After some delicious wine, LOTS of water, and lunch provided by your lovely host at the last tasting, we will make our way back to the bike rental store.
Total distance: around 10-ish miles.
What this event includes:
- Reservations at three great wineries for delicious tastings!
- Awesome bike ride through Napa Valley with UD friends
- Picnic lunch at our last tasting spot provided by UD
- UD host to handle all the logistics
- About ~10 mile bike ride (mostly flat and easy)
What to bring:
- Bicycle with a lock - or rent a bike at Napa Valley Bike Tours & Rentals (our meeting location)
- *If you are bringing your own bike, please come no later than 10:00AM to make sure tires are pumped and everything is in good working order
- Helmet (rentals are available)
- Sunglasses & sunscreen
- Water
- Backpack (for water, food and wine that you will buy to take home!)
- $$$ for sipping wine and/or for bike rental
- Bike rental: $45 - $65
- Each winery is about $50-60 per tasting
- We recommend buying a bottle for home at our last winery (aka our favorite one)

Please drink responsibly, and make sure your buddy does too
(because getting a bicycle DUI ticket would be the opposite of fun).
