About "Entwined: Mother Elder" in Golden Gate Park:
Entwined: Elder Mother is a pop-up light installation in the park, with an utterly amazing and monumental shade-bearing tree that moves in the wind. The 30-ft metal sculpted tree carries a 25-ft canopy offering a place for park-goers to gather day and night with ever-changing illumination and color. Eldermother also incorporates six unique QR codes on the tree ‘leaves’ which allow attendees to control the tree’s lighting patterns.
To continue the show, sculptures comprised of 4,000 LED lights cluster into small flowering bushes at varying heights, further filling the green space with peaks and valleys of radiating light!
