 Come stay at the cabin for a Saturday night overnight! This event for open to all members, but is especially designed for our members who want to maximize the weekend & stay overnight at the Tahoe cabin after our day at the gorgeous Emerald Pools swimming hole.
What to expect:
 After our Emerald Pools River Day and BBQ, you are bound to be tired. Instead of jumping back in your car to make the drive home, you are welcome to spend Saturday night at the UD cabin.
Conveniently situated near the picturesque Yuba River, our cozy cabin serves as the perfect crash pad after an awesome river day.
We are hosting a delicious BBQ at the cabin, including all the member from the river event as well, it's going to be a fun time! The BBQ is included in the price of the cabin sleepover.
Please note: This event has the freedom of a "self-hosted" create-your-own-adventure, and after 5pm there will be no UD host on duty. However, you are more than welcome to make use of the fully stocked kitchen, or coordinate with other members for group meals out!
Cabin Lodging:
The UD cabin is a Tahoe-style vacation cabin near the lake, ready and waiting for us! With 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, an awesome fireplace, wrap around deck, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking! Please note: This is a private cabin, and you'll likely be sharing the space with other UD members. If you have specific lodging needs, or wish to request your own bedroom for an extra cost, please let us know in your registration comment.
Check-out is Sunday at 2pm.

Itinerary:
This is just a suggestion, feel free to create your own adventure!
Saturday:
We will start the weekend fun in the sun at Emerald pools, located on the gorgeous Yuba River. For those signed up for the river day, we will meet at the trail head parking lot Saturday morning. If you are not interested in the river day, you are more than welcome to create your own Tahoe adventure for the day.
After we have had our fill of river fun, we will head back to the UD cabin, where your host will prepare a lovely summer BBQ on the wrap-around deck. After BBQ, the cabin folks can relax, or choose to hit the town for some local nightlife and casinos! After 5pm, there will be NO UD Host on duty, and you get to choose your own adventure for the evening.
Sunday:
We will all make our own preferred breakfasts in the fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, or go out for a lovely brunch in town. We recommend exploring some of the North Tahoe Beaches, Donner Lake, or ,
Spend the weekend floating the river, paddling the lake, or chilling in a hammock... Whatever you do, you'll have a great time at the Tahoe Cabin! |
