DAY 2 | Saturday, October 05
Foliage tour + Hike in a scenic lakes basin!
- After our first night of R&R, our host will make a nourishing breakfast and coffee to get you fueled up. Feel free to take a morning dip in the hot spring, or the cool alpine fed creek to wake yourself up before we head out for our day of adventuring.
- Today will be the start of our tour of the fall foliage of the Eastern Sierra. Hike through a stunning scenic valley filled with gorgeous Aspen trees decorated in fall colors, with a waterfall waiting for us at the end of the trail. Those brave enough can do a cold plunge in the near by lake!
- This entire area is surrounded by ragged mountain peaks and gorgeous views, with instagramable moments around every corner.
- The late afternoon is a great time to explore near by Mono Lake, read a book, or nap in the hammock.
- Lunch at a local brewery in the adorable mountain town of June Lake.
- As night approaches, your awesome host will prepare a delicious camp dinner and refreshments. We will start the campfire and roast marshmallows as the sun sets.
- Spend the rest of the night soaking the in the hot springs under the stars. Get ready to see a bright night sky like you have never seen in the Bay Area!

PLUS METEOR SHOWER from the Hot Springs expected TONIGHT!
- Today will be a balance between outdoor adventure, exploration and plenty of moments of peaceful relaxation.

- After our hike, we will have the option to explore some of the natural wonders in the area, such as an optional side "field-trip" to Bodie History State Park & ghost town. Or the Crowley volcanic columns, geothermal craters, Obsidan Dome, Mono Lake Tufas, and many gorgeous vista points of the surrounding peaks. There are lots of options for afternoon activities in this area, something for everyone.
