A Marin Hiking Sausage Fest!

Let's escape the hustle and bustle & trade it in for a relaxed hike followed by some delicious food in a beautiful small town! We'll be very close to the City, but it will feel like we are far removed!
The Marin Watershed, spans over 21,600 acres and serves as the primary source of drinking water for Marin County residents. The watershed is not only vital for water supply but also serves as a habitat for diverse wildlife, including endangered species like the California red-legged frog. This is bound to be an awesome hike!
What to Expect:
Join us for an awesome, moderately challenging hike in Marin. It's about 5.5 miles with roughly 840 ft of elevation gain. It's a lovely loop trail which means something new will be around every bend. The trail traces the banks of a lake before turning up into the forest full of majestic redwoods. The ridge line comes with views as far as the eye can see!
After the hike, we'll head into the town of Fairfax (it's super cute, and close by). This is where the "sausage fest" comes in. The Gestalt Haus restaurant is a well-known and loved Marin interpretation of a Northern California "biker bar," but instead of motorcycles, it's mountain bikes! Trust us, this spot serves up delicious brats and beers, including vegetarian options as well!
