Mini-BURN Bonfire
@ Ocean Beach!
Burning Man weekend is upon us. We know there are many people who want to celebrate, but are not able to make it to the playa this year, so we are bringing the celebration to us!!
What to expect:
Did you know that San Francisco is the birth place of the original Burning Man?
What  better way to honor this creative and communal legacy than with a big ol' beach bonfire? Join us as we pay homage to the spirit of Burning Man with a massive beachside bonfire that promises to be a night of self expression, connection, and unforgettable memories. Feel the energy of the city that started it all and let the flames illuminate a vibrant energy, just like they do on the playa.
We are going all out this year, you can expect party lights, LED lights, glow sticks and great music! Your hosts will get there hours ahead of time to secure the first-come-first-serve fire pits. Beach bonfire nights don't get any better than this - let the party begin!
In the spirit of Burning Man, we will be paying special attention to these principles:

Leaving no trace - We will leave the beach looking better than when we found it. We encourage everyone to help us in collecting any trash you see on the beach, we will have trash receptacles for disposal.

Communal effort - Celebrating connection and community is very near and dear to the heart of UD, and we will be embracing this heavily tonight. Let's celebrate each other

Inclusion - This event is open to the public, and priced just to cover costs of wood and supplies.

Self-expression - Please feel free to express yourself tonight... clothing/costume/dance or any form of non-harmful self expression is fully encouraged.
- Gifting atmosphere - We will be encouraging a "gifting" and sharing environment. BYOB and sharing is the name of the game :D
Event Includes:
- Awesome mini-burn bonfire
- An expert fire tending host
- Awesome group of members to connect with
- S'mores by the fire, other yummy snacks!
- Music and bonfire party atmosphere
- Wood for fire
- Water bottles and sparkling water
- A full evening of music and fun!
What to Bring:
- Something to sit on - blanket, chair, sit pad, etc.
- A warm blanket
- Clothes to keep you warm - layers, layers, and more layers!
- We HIGHLY recommend bringing a wind breaker as this beach is pretty much always windy.
- BYOB (NO GLASS PLEASE!)
- Extra firewood if you can.. we are aiming for a big fire!
- Weather: It is usually windy and cold at the beach! Bring many many layers!!! Cannot stress this enough!
