Join UD for two nights of GLAMPING in beautiful Napa! We've secured reservations in a couple of glamping Yurts and prepared an awesome itinerary exploring some seriously unique spots. We'll be preparing group meals for the weekend, and have even organized a day of wine tasting, so all you need to do is come and enjoy yourself! We even got a reservation for dinner a famous local bistro on Saturday evening!
We figured you may have some questions about this YURT GLAMPING...
First of all, what's a Yurt? A Yurt is a circular structure that's basically a combination of a canvas tent, a cabin, and a tipi. Built-in-beds are included, so there's no set up or break down - just bring your sleeping bag and pillow!! Easy enough, right?!
Now what is glamping?! GLAMOROUS CAMPING of course!
Experience all the beauty of Napa Valley has to offer as we spend the weekend glamping, wine tasting, and making new friends!

Friday:
Come early if you can, call off work or take a half day, go for it! That way we can enjoy our trip to the fullest! Early evening, we'll settle into our yurts and get to know each other around the campfire. Once the sun starts to set, we'll whip up a delicious dinner to enjoy, with wine and s'mores as dessert.
Saturday - Your host will be up early getting coffee and breakfast ready to fuel you up for our day! We'll start with a light hike to enjoy the beautiful nature of our home for the weekend. After returning from our hike, we will make a light lunch at camp.
Following lunch, we will head out for a super unique wine tasting experience... in a castle and cave! This will be a 1.5 hour wine tasting AND castle/cave tour, followed by a delicious picnic. This tour is optional, and is not included in the price of this event. Please sign up for the Wine Tasting Castle Tour and Picnic here. Don't feel like going wine tasting? Spend some quality down time at camp or ask you host for other activity recommendations in the area.
After the tour, we'll explore the castle a bit more before heading to our dinner reservation at a famous local restaurant by Chef Thomas Keller called Bouchon Bistro. Please note, this dinner is not included in the price of this event. Then back to the yurts for our last campfire.
Sunday morning - We will start the morning off with a delicious breakfast and coffee. We will start packing up our belongings, as our check out is at 12pm, but our trip doesn't end there! We'll be taking a tour of Grist Mill before heading back home.
Grist Mill was built in 1846, and is one of only two water-driven mills remaining west of the Mississippi River! It was once the center of social activity as Napa Valley settlers gathered to have their corn and wheat ground into meal or flour.
The mill and its 36-foot water wheel are protected as a state historic landmark and have been partially restored. After appreciating this fascinating local Napa history, we'll make our way back home, hopefully with a better appreciation for this amazing region so close to home. It is a really neat tour you don't want to miss.
