Picture this... the sun setting on the ocean, the full moon rising, and you live in one of the most beautiful spots in the world, so let's enjoy it with a hike at Lands End! Come and take in some breathtaking views of the famous Golden Gate Bridge under a full moon! If you are new to the club, this is the perfect event for getting to like minded UD members!

Biggest Supermoon of the Year!
Hike the coastal bluffs and take in sweeping views of the Golden Gate under the soft glow of the biggest Supermoon of 2024. Join us for a walk through the Sutro Baths, admire sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and learn about the history of our city's fabled coastline!
What to expect:
Enjoy a relaxing evening of light hiking along the trails of Lands End. We'll meander our way though groves of coastal cypress, though the ruins of the Sutra Baths and along the cliffs and bluffs overlooking the Golden Gate and Pacific Ocean.
We will meet at the upper parking lot at the time specified,so we'll get to hike during the sunset! Your host will take you to a great look out spot to watch the moon rise by 7pm. This moon is called the Super Hunter's Moon. Plus, it's also the biggest Supermoon of the year. which means the moon will come closer to the Earth than any other full moon in 2024.
The moonrise is due to happen at 6:36 pm.
The trail offers sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands!
