What to expect: Huge party in the camp site with a big potluck-style buffet dinner (We provide the potluck but feel free to bring something to share if you wish...) some fun games may ensue.
This is a very special river rafting/hike weekend. We have a huge themed Raft party on Saturday Night... So dress according to theme for the party and for the rafting Saturday. This rafting trip is always an epic fun time, with everyone ending up with great memories, hanging out with new and old Urban Diversion friends.
Our boat leaders have 25+ years river rafting experience, much more than your average rafting company! Your boat leaders will make sure you have a great time!
The river we raft down is a class III river. Not too hard, not too easy but tons of fun! You can expect a boat of 4-8 with up to 8 rafts running the river each day. Our host group comes from a family of rafting guides, and has been doing this for 40+ years – we always have a great time!
Not Interested in Rafting? You should still join us! The river hangout and afterparty is just as epic!
In addition to river rafting there are some beautiful hikes right nearby for those of us that don't want to get wet. Our preferred hike is a beautiful 5mile trek into American Canyon. It is just a few miles away from the campsite. For exact hike details check out the post registration.

This scenic river run is just off the beaten path but it feels like you're in a different world. We will be rocking rafts this trip making it an awesome experience! The water will be COLD as it finds us on its journey to the ocean from the top of the Sierras.
Don't worry about packing your lunch.... LUNCH will be served!
So grab your two piece, make sure you slather on that sunscreen and strap on your Go-Pro.... we are heading out on an adventure!!!
How much experience do I need to enjoy rafting? None, nada, zip. Can you swim? Can you hold a paddle? Can you laugh and enjoy the sunshine? If you can do all of that, then you can have a blast on this trip.
How does the rafting work? Its soooooo much fun. We will have a huge group and everyone will want to share, have a quick safety briefing and then its off to the water! The rafting is completely fully volunteer guided- so we can spend the afternoon lazily floating down the river or zip through to the cliffs and spend the afternoon on the cliffs and jumping into the river.... either one is a sure fire way to have fun!
