North of San Francisco, there's an amazing part of California where rugged beaches meet the towering redwoods, and idyllic artsy towns dot the coastline. Here, you'll find scenic views around every corner and vast areas of unspoiled nature perfect for peaceful outdoor exploring. There are lots of must see places, like the famous Glass Beach, MacKerricher State Park, Noyo Harbor, Jackson State Forest and many more!

Itinerary:

Friday:Image result for Glass Beach at sunset

Everyone arrive at their own leisure and set up their tents. Relax around the campfire, have some drinks & mingle. Your host will have dinner and s'mores for the group. If possible, request a half day at work, this way you can make it to camp before sunset, giving you more sunlight for setting up your tent.

Saturday:

Our campsite is so close to the beach, you'll wake up to the crisp ocean air! Enjoy coffee and breakfast prepared by your host before we set out for a hike through the redwoods, chasing waterfalls and exploring a fern-lined canyon.

After the hike, we’ll head into the charming town of Mendocino for some lunch and whale watching on the coastal bluffs.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the world-famous Glass Beach for some sea glass hunting. As the day settles down, we will return to the campsite for a tasty dinner prepared by your host. Spend the evening stargazing and sharing stories around the campfire.

Optional: In the evening, we’ll head out for a one-of-a-kind adventure deep in the redwoods… accessible only by the Skunk Train! This will be a unique late-night experience at Glen Blair Bar, complete with firepits, live music, and group games, all while enjoying signature cocktails, local beer, and wine. This train ride and bar experience is optional and not included in the price of this event. Please sign up for the Glen Blair Bar Adventure here. Not feeling the bar scene? Spend a cozy evening at camp, or ask your host for other activity recommendations in the area.
