That's right, we will be camping on our own island on a gorgeous alpine lake!
Far from the hustle and bustle of city life, you'll find yourself immersed in the serene beauty of nature, surrounded by towering pines and stunning granite outcrops. By day, we will explore the lake, wiht it's endless islands, hidden coves and inlets, discovering secret beaches and enjoying refreshing swims. As the sun sets, gather around the campfire under a blanket of stars, with the Milky Way shining brightly overhead. This is more than just a getaway—it's an unforgettable journey into the wild, where every moment is a new discovery! Plus, this is the perfect way to meet like minded, adventerous people!

- 3 day / 2 night camping adventure on a secluded island of Utica Reservoir
- All camp meals provided, including delicious, freshly prepared campfire meals!

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED:
- Meals outside of camp, on the road, or in town
- NO Alcohol, BYOB
- Personal camp gear, see light below.
WHAT TO BRING: 
- Personal camp tent, sleep pad and sleeping bag
- Personal day pack and water bottle
- Cameras, tripods, etc.
- Head Lamp
- Personal toiletries (no shower available)
- Hiking clothes, hiking shoes, and a warm jacket for night time.
- Swimsuit and towel
- If you need camping gear, like a tent, or sleeping pad, we have extra gear you can borrow. Please let us know ASAP as supplies are limited.
- We will send out a more detailed packing list as the campout approaches
ITINERARY
DAY 1 | Friday
Head to lake, pack kayaks and paddle to camp! 
- Arrive at the lake by 12pm + load up gear onto kayaks We ask everyone to arrive by 12pm, this way we can all kayak to camp as a group.
- Try to call off work today so you can get a head start on your drive. If you're leaving from the city, it will be about a 4 hour drive depending on traffic.
- We will all pile our gear into our club kayaks, and paddle out to a gorgeous secluded island, and set up camp. Trust us, this is such an epic way to camp!
- The end of the day means enjoying a delicious group meal together, a crackling fire, s'mores and a bright starry night sky!
DAY 2 | Saturday
Paddle the lake, explore and hike!
- After our first night at camp, we will wake up with fresh hot coffee and our host will make a nourishing breakfast to get us fueled up. Feel free to take a morning dip in the lake.
- Today we will be exploring the lake's many private coves, beaches and inlets.
- The late afternoon is a great time to explore the lake's edge with a hike, or relax at camp, read a book, or nap in the hammock.
- As night approaches, your awesome host will prepare a delicious camp dinner and refreshments.
- We will start the campfire and roast marshmallows as the sun sets.
DAY 3 | Sunday
One more dip in the lake + kayak out!
- Our weekend alpine lake getaway is nearing its end.
- Your host will prepare fresh coffee and breakfast, and we will begin packing up camp.
- We will pack up the kayaks and make our way back to the cars.
- Have a safe drive, and before you head off, make sure to exchange numbers with new camp friends
