Don't miss out on this unforgettable opportunity to experience the serene beauty of Yosemite in its winter glory!

Basic Details:

Picture this: The most epic winter wonderland you could ever imagine, and the perfect campsite with incredible views of Yosemite Valley below. Gather around the campfire just in time to watch the sun to set over Yosemite Valley's snow-covered peaks, transforming into a magical colorful spectacle, creating memories that linger long after the footprints have disappeared in the snow.

Winter snowshoe backpacking in Yosemite offers a serene and enchanting adventure that you do not want to miss!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
This is a fully guided co-op trip, and beginner friendly adventure all about learning how to winter camp in the gorgeous backcountry of Yosemite. You will have expert guides to show you how to snowshoe winter-camp the right way! With delicious hot meals and cozy cocoa, pristine landscapes, and incredible views as far as the eye can see, this is going to be an EPIC trip.

The Dewey point trail is very beginner friendly at just 3.5 miles to the campsite, bringing us to the most incredible winter wonderland, ultimately leading to the breathtaking vista at Dewey Point. This is where we will set up camp, with the iconic granite cliffs of Yosemite Valley standing in majestic contrast to the winter wonderland below. This snowshoe camping experience is very rewarding, and our favorite way to explore Yosemite in the winter. Space is very limited, make sure to grab your spot before this fills up!

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS:

  • A 3.5 mile hike to camp on moderate terrain with minimal elevation gain
  • Doesn't matter if you've never backpacked, snowshoed, or snow camped, this trip is for everyone

About Winter Camping:

Winter in Yosemite is undoubtedly one of the most enchanting seasons. The park sees only a fraction of its summer visitors, providing a unique and personal experience. While winter camping might initially appear challenging, it doesn't have to be, and your hosts will make sure you have the best experience! Our guidance ensures you receive valuable tips on staying warm and dry, hoping to guarantee a fantastic time. Given the heavy reliance on gear during winter, closely review the provided gear list and feel free to reach out with any questions. Whether it's your inaugural winter expedition or your tenth, we'll all embark on the journey, gain knowledge, enjoy ourselves, and create lasting memories together!
