Basic Details:

California's Best Kept Secret:

Beginner’s Camping Weekend

Pinnacles is known as Bay Area's best spot for wildflowers, caving, cool rock formation, gorgeous hiking trails, campfires, & epic star-gazing!

**Lyrids Meteor Shower Weekend!**

This trip is perfect for the experienced adventurer and the first time camper, Pinnacles has it all! We will explore CAVES, LAKES, ROCK FORMATIONS, & MORE!

What to Expect:

This is going to be an adventure-filled weekend getaway! Enjoy panoramic views, vibrant wildflowers, and laughs with UD friends. During the day, we'll hit the trail for some stunning day hikes, exploring breathtaking rock formations, colorful wildflower meadows, and mysterious caves. When the sun goes down, our host will cook up a hearty family-style meal! We'll warm up around the campfire, enjoying each other's company, swapping stories, and soaking in the magic of the great outdoors. Heads up, this is the perfect campout for those who are new to camping—fun, welcoming, and full of adventure!

Hiking:

OUR SATURDAY HIKE:  Condor Gulch Trail to High Peaks (weather permitting)

OUR SUNDAY HIKE:   Moses Spring Trail and Rim Trail

Day 1: Set up camp & enjoy sunset!

Show up to camp before sunset. We will set up camp and make our space nice and homey as everyone arrives. After we have camp set up, our awesome host will make a yummy dinner over the fire, and we will enjoy some adult libations, and gaze at the stars.

Day 2: Hike and enjoy the epic landscape!
Saturday we will wake up at 8 a.m. and have a coffee and a hearty breakfast to get us ready for the day! We'll pack a trail lunch, and head out for our hike! The trail we are hiking will offer us a moderate hike, and amazing views from a gorgeous view point! The iconic caves should be open, unless there is a freak storm that roles in. If they are open, we will hike through the iconic Pinnacles caves! Get ready to see some awesome rock formations, giant Condors, and big expansive views! After our hike, we will head back to the campsite for a dinner feast prepared by your host! We will play games around the campfire, make s'mores, and share stories under the starry night sky!

Day 3: Our final around the Pinnacles!
Wake up, and enjoy coffee and a yummy breakfast to get us ready for the day! We will pack up camp, make our sack lunches, and then do a short, yet stunning hike before we head home. We are planning on doing another amazing loop trail, which offers awesome scenic views and is rated as moderate.
