In this upbeat, hands-on studio class, you’ll team up with your Urban Diversion friends to craft your own hand-blown glass masterpiece. Learn to safely gather molten glass from the furnace, add dazzling colors, and shape your unique creation—all while working in an exciting, supportive environment. This isn’t just a class—it’s an unforgettable experience. Don’t miss out!

What to Expect:

This class is open to everyone—whether you joined us for the Level 1 Christmas ornament class or not! Level 2 dives deeper into the art of glass blowing, with a smaller class size so you can create even cooler custom drinking cups that you can gift or use everyday! The reason this is "Level 2" is because you'll get much more time working with the glass than our "Level 1" ornament class. As you can imagine making a cup is much more involved than making an orb.

Hands-On Instruction: Rotate through as each participant gets personalized, 1-on-1 guidance from a professional glass-blowing instructor so you can work safely with molten glass.

• Create Your Masterpiece: You’ll craft your very own glass drinking cup during your session, a unique and beautiful piece of art!
• Group Lesson: Start with a group overview of techniques before your individual time with the instructor. 
• Picnic Lunch: While you wait your turn, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch hosted outside the studio. Relax, snack, and connect with new friends while soaking in the creative vibes!

 Event Includes:

What to Bring: 

• Layers! 
• Water 
• $$$ for the cost of the class 
• Attire: Casual, layers, and bring something to tie your hair back if you have long hair

Important Note:

 The cost of the glass class is not included in this event, and will be paid directly to the glass studio day of.

The UD event cost includes the delicious picnic lunch your host will have prepared for you! BYOB if you'd like to have some drinks (once you've finished playing with fire). Each person will pay for their lesson at the studio, after you've finished making your master piece, the picnic will be waiting for you all to enjoy!

The cost of the class will be around $80-$100. Cash, Zelle, Venmo, and credit card are accepted. 

The cost of the class includes: 

• 30+ minutes hand-on 1-on-1 instruction from a professional glass blower
• Glass cup made by you! (will be available the following day for pick up)

Space is very limited, make sure to sign up early! We only have enough time to have 4-5 students per class. :)
