Life Unlocked: Introduction to Archery
Always dreamed about being the next Katniss Everdeen, Robin Hood, Merida or Legolas? But you don't know the first thing about archery? Well here is your chance to learn & get one step closer to fulfilling your dream!... ;)
Together we will practice skills such as safety, terminology, equipment-handling, & how to draw & fire! Then we will hit the archery lanes for more target practice! Afterwords, let's go out for some delicious Mexican food to celebrate our new skills!
What to expect:
At the time of the event, show up at Pacifica Archery where we will start our beginners to archery lesson after a short introduction and safety debriefing from the archery professionals. For the rest of the time we will have some friendly competition and see who is the best shot! We promise that you will find this target practice very satisfying and rewarding. Once we've mastered our new skill we'll grab some late-lunch together at an amazing Mexican restaurant nearby!
Event Includes:
- All necessary archery equipment
- An intro to archery beginners class taught by the professionals
- Your UD host to help you feel more confident!
What to Bring:
- A water bottle
- $$ for a late-lunch afterwards
- Your competitive spirit
Attire:
Dress comfortably! You're not allowed to wear any loose clothing, scarfs, big earnings or necklaces (long hair must be pulled back or put up). Must wear closed toe shoes, no flip-flops allowed!
