Join us for a 5.8 mile loop in the beautiful redwoods forests of the East Bay! This trail in Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park winds through the redwood forest and along a gorgeous stream. Hopefully we'll even get lucky and catch those magical sun rays peeking through the trees. Come along for a Big Hike Sunday and meet some awesome, like-minded individuals who love getting outdoors in our beautiful Bay Area surroundings just like you!

This is a moderate hike, about 5.8 miles and near 1,200 ft elevation gain - much of it will be easier flat ground in the forest and along the upper ridges. We can take our sweet time and stop as much as we want. We want to make sure it's a fantastic afternoon for everyone!
What to Expect:
A beautiful DOG-FRIENDLY forest hike in the East Bay hills that will have us exploring a totally new area of the Bay! We'll meet new friends, soak in the magic of an old growth redwood forest, get our steps in, enjoy the gorgeous views and have a great time. Expect to sweat a little bit, explore this beautiful lesser-known redwood forest, and make new friends - either the 2-legged or the 4-legged kind!
Event Includes:
- A beautiful hike
- Light trail snack
- An adventurous host!
What to Bring:
- Your own packed lunch
- water - 2L minimum per person
- A backpack for all your essentials
- great energy
Attire:
Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress in layers so we're prepared for whatever the weather will throw at us! The trail is not too exposed (great for our furry friends) and it may get cold in the shade, so be prepared to bundle up.
We hope to see you there :)
