Join us for an epic campout in Sequoia and Kings Canyon, nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada. Far from city lights, we’ll camp under some of the clearest skies for unforgettable stargazing. We will explore the majestic sequoias, stunning waterfalls, and scenic mountain trails. As night falls, be mesmerized by the star-filled sky while soaking in the natural beauty of these ancient parks. Plus, enjoy key stops in Kings Canyon on the way home for even more breathtaking vistas!
TRIP HIGHLIGHTS:
- Explore Sequoia’s Giant Trees: Stand beneath the world’s largest tree, General Sherman, and hike through groves of towering sequoias.
- Chase Waterfalls: Visit cascading waterfalls like Tokopah Falls and Roaring River Falls for breathtaking views.
- Stargazing & Night Skies: Witness the best star-filled skies as you camp under the darkness of Sequoia’s protected landscape.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED:
- Meals outside of camp, on the road, or in town
- NO Alcohol, BYOB
- Individual car entrance fees for National Parks
WHAT TO BRING:
- Personal camp tent, sleep pad and sleeping bag
- Personal day pack and water bottle
- Cameras, tripods, etc.
- Head Lamp
- Personal toiletries
- Hiking clothes, hiking boots, and a warm jacket for night time.
- Swimsuit and towel for hot springs
- Recommended to bring hiking poles if you have them
- If you need camping gear, like a tent, or sleeping pad, we have extra gear you can borrow. Please let us know ASAP as supplies are limited.
- We will send out a more detailed packing list as the campout approaches
- National Parks Pass if you have one!
ITINERARY
DAY 1 | Friday
Welcome to Sequoia NP!
- Arrive any time that works with your Friday schedule. Aim for the mid afternoon, always better to set up camp in the sunlight and enjoy the first sunset if you can :)
- Check in with your host at the campsite and set up your personal tent
- The end of the day means enjoying a delicious group meal together, a crackling fire & s'mores.
DAY 2 | Saturday
Scenic hike + exploring giant sequoia grove!
- After our first night of R&R, our host will make a nourishing breakfast and coffee to get you fueled up.
- Today is all about hiking and vistas around Sequoia. We will hike to a waterfall and through lush meadows surrounded by ragged mountain peaks.
- Then it's off to the giant Sequoia grove and General Sherman!
- We will visit the famous Auto tree and hanging rock!
- As night approaches, your awesome host will prepare a delicious camp dinner and refreshments. We will start the campfire and roast marshmallows as the sun sets.
- We will venture out for sunset at a gorgeous vista!
DAY 3 | Sunday
Scenic drive through Kings Canyon + Waterfall Hike
- Our weekend mountain getaway is nearing its end. Your host will prepare fresh coffee and breakfast, and we will begin packing up camp.
- On your way home, we will drive through Kings Canyon and stop for some gorgeous vistas and short, but-worth-it hikes!
- In the end, have a safe drive, but before you head off, make sure to exchange numbers with new camp friends :D
HOW TO JOIN
