The Haunted Town of Port Costa

Port Costa may seem like a sleepy riverside town by day, but when the sun dips below the Carquinez hills, a different energy takes hold. Once a bustling port filled with saloons, sailors, and secrets, whispers still echo through its narrow streets. Locals speak of ghostly figures wandering the waterfront, strange lights in abandoned buildings, and a woman in white who vanishes at the bend of Canyon Lake Drive. In Port Costa, the past never rests—it lingers in the fog, watching, waiting...

What to Expect

This California town has just been named the most haunted in the USA. Because of that we have curated a truly spooky urban hike itinerary with stories that'll make you pee yourself (maybe it's best if you bring a change in underwear).  With the guidance of your haunted UD host we will walk around the town of 242 residents and visit the town's scariest locations - many people have said they've experienced something they couldn't explain! One of the locations we will be visiting has been turned into a bar, we'll stop here for a drink and ask the locals about their own haunted stories!

• A change of underwear
• Water for urban "hike" haunted tour
• $$ for drinks at the bar we'll stop at :)
• Attire: Dress in layers since this walk/hike will be predominantly outside!
