Who Let the Dogs Out?

The dog days of summer may be in the past, but we're not going to let that stop us from having some fun beach time. What makes beach time even better? Yup, all of our furry four-legged friends! Join us for a dog friendly hike along the beach. This will be less of a hike and more of a doggie play date! Don't have a dog? No problem! Everyone is welcome!

What to Expect:

All dogs are welcome, if your human isn't well behaved, please keep 'em on a leash. The walk is a great way to get your legs moving and provide lots of fun exercise for your dog. We'll head down to the beach and walk from end to end to get a long loop for the two and four-legged. Please be aware that the trail is somewhat steep to the beach, so this is not ideal for those 4-legged friends with arthritis or hip problems. There is water up near the parking lot for pups and people, but none along the beach so if your dog tends to get really thirsty, its a good idea to bring some water with you.

**The beach is an off leash area and there will likely be lots of other dogs around**

What to bring:

  • Treats (of course priorities)
  • A leash
  • Poop bags
  • Ball or other toys

What's included:

  • Human and dog treats (Don't mix them up. Dog treats don't taste so great. Ask me how I know.)

Attire: Layers/your dog park clothes. Given that it's SF, "Karl" the fog is likely to make an appearance, so dress appropriately.
