Did you know Germany has a Beer Purity Law that is older than most countries. In 1516, Germany enacted the Reinheitsgebot, aka the Beer Purity Law. It allowed beer to be made with only water, barley, and hops (yeast came later, once they figured out what it was). Germans don't mess around when it comes to keeping their brews “beer-y” pure.
